When our students are happy, we are happy. Read a touching story from one of our very own Massage Therapy students, who got herself out of a tough situation and went on to graduate from CHCP.

Where to start? I started massage therapy program September 3, 2013. I didn’t really know what I was getting myself into and I wasn’t sure if it was even what I wanted to do with my life. However, I knew I had to do something soon because I wasn’t doing anything but digging myself into a deeper hole.
So there I was, a brand new student and scared to death, but so very happy to be out of my mother’s house and staying busy. Time went by, and it was a huge struggle for me, homework and a kid that didn’t want to leave my side the minute I got home from school every day. I kept pushing forward, though, because I knew I had to. Things were getting worse at home and I knew I couldn’t support myself with no career behind me, so I had to do what I had to do.
Let’s just say I wouldn’t have been able to do what I had to do if it were not for such amazing teacher's, and my program director, Ms. Aaron, plus the great friends I had made throughout the year. If it weren’t for them all, and my daughter and going home to the situation I had to go home to every day, I don’t think I would have been able to do it!
I just want to thank everyone at the school who helped me make it through and being there for me at my time of need, and I have finally finished and made something of myself. It's taken a long time for me to get where I needed to be and things can only get better from this point. I AM however sad to say that my time here is done, but I know I can always come visit, and come get awesome free massages every once in a while ;-)
